EXPLANATION OF THE JAPAN-END PURCHASE PROCESS


(For anxious learners and dwellers)

Auction invoice comprises of following 2-categories
(Refundable Amount)
i) Local purchase is added with 5% sales tax = Hammer price + 5% is initially invoiced by the auction house which can be re-collected minimum 3-months after the proof of export.
ii) Re-Cycle certificate fee = From Jpyen(¥) 8,660 upto 15,500. Refund upon proof of export.
iii) License/inspection sticker available vehicles = A deposit is debited for the fiscal year ending March = From Jpyen(¥)8,000 (660cc) upto 59,000 (Lexus 400). Refunded once the vehicle is de-registered or the name transfer is completed.

(Non-Refundable Amount)
i) Auction charges a fee for selling and buying = From Jpyen(¥)7,500 + 5% upto 19,500 + 5%

Forwarding Including Customs

    For R/O R/O vehicles under 15CuM size..Jpyen(￥)15,000
    For vehicles above 15CuM and container packing and forwarding please discuss with Export/Import department.

    Sea-Freight from Japan

We do not take any commissions over the sea-freight or any kind of freight. Our freight calculator is available but since the freight charges are revised on monthly basis therefore it is imperative to discuss before shipment requests.
