CUSTOMS DUTIES (DGDA)

Duties are assessed by the Direction Générale des Douanes et Accises (DGDA). For most used passenger vehicles, the duty rate typically ranges from 5% to 15% depending on the vehicle type and age, based on the CIF value.

VALUE ADDED TAX (TVA)

A standard rate of 16% TVA (Taxe sur la Valeur Ajoutée) is applied to the imported vehicle’s total value (CIF + Customs Duties). This tax must be settled before the vehicle is released from the port of entry.

PARAFISCAL FEES & OGEFREM

Includes mandatory OGEFREM (Office de Gestion du Fret Multimodal) coverage, destination inspection fees, and registration/licensing fees required by the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
