All imports attract a 3.5% Import Declaration Fee (IDF) and a 2% Railway Development Levy (RDL), calculated based on the vehicle's Customs Value.
QISJ INSPECTION
Every vehicle must have a QISJ Certificate of roadworthiness from the country of origin. Vehicles arriving without this certificate face heavy KEBS penalties.
