Quick Start Guide

The Nexuss Cars process follows three precise phases from search to delivery.

Phase 1: Select & Secure Your Vehicle (In Japan)

1.  Submit Requirements: Provide your target vehicle (make, model, year, budget) via our website contact form. Example: 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, budget up to $25,000 FOB.

2.  Deposit to Activate Service: Pay a refundable $1,000 USD deposit via wire transfer. This funds our pre-bid service: translating auction sheets, verifying grades, and conducting a basic condition/price analysis on up to 3 shortlisted vehicles.

3.  Approve & Bid: We present a final candidate with a translated auction sheet, photos, and our bid recommendation. Upon your written approval, we execute the bid at the Japanese auction or dealer.

Phase 2: Export & Shipping (Japan to Your Port)

4.  Finalize Purchase: If successful, you receive an itemized Proforma Invoice within 24 hours: (1) Vehicle Cost, (2) Nexuss Cars Service Fee, (3) Japan-side Export Compliance & Dock Fees.

5.  Complete Payment: Wire the final balance. We immediately secure the vehicle and begin export paperwork.

6.  Documents & Shipment: We handle all Japan-side documentation, providing you with the Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, and Export Certificate for customs. We book and confirm RoRo or container shipping to your designated port.

Phase 3: Customs & Registration (In Your Country)

7.  Prepare for Arrival: Use the documents we provide to engage a local customs broker *before* the car arrives. They will calculate and facilitate payment of your country’s Import Duty, Taxes (e.g., 2.5% duty + local tax in the USA), and port fees.

8.  Clear & Collect: Once the vessel arrives, your broker clears the car through customs. You then pay the port terminal charges and collect your vehicle.

9.  Title & Register: Take the original Japanese Export Certificate and its certified English translation (provided by us) to your local DMV to apply for a title and registration. Next Step: To begin, email your target vehicle and budget to imports@nexusscars.com with the subject line: New Client Import Inquiry: [Vehicle Model]
