We operate on a sourcing model rather than holding high-priced stock. This allows us to find the best fresh auction entries daily, matching your exact requirements at the most competitive price—without compromising on quality. You get a vehicle selected for you, not one that’s been sitting for months.

The 2025 process is streamlined but strictly regulated. Please note the new mandatory ATJ Inspection requirement effective February 1st.

Step 1: Select a Compliant Vehicle
Your car must be Right-Hand Drive (RHD) and generally under 8 years old (or under 4 years for light commercial vehicles).

Step 2: Mandatory ATJ Pre-Shipment Inspection
To prevent “lemon cars,” a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by AutoTerminal Japan (ATJ) is now required by the GRA. Your vehicle must pass this before it can be shipped.

Step 3: Booking & Shipping
Upon receiving the ATJ certificate, we ship your vehicle to Port Georgetown.

Step 4: Customs Upload via ASYCUDA
Your licensed broker uploads the ATJ Certificate, Bill of Lading, and Commercial Invoice into the national ASYCUDA World system.

Step 5: Duty Payment & Clearance
Taxes are calculated based on engine size (CC) and age.
Key 2025 Tip: Electric Vehicles (EVs) currently attract 0% Duty, 0% Excise, and 0% VAT, making them the most cost-effective import option this year.

We take the guesswork out of buying from Japan. First, all our cars are sourced from Japan’s top-tier auctions (USS, TAA, CAA), where each vehicle receives a detailed condition report by certified inspectors. You will review this report, including its auction grade, before committing to a purchase.

Furthermore, as of 2025, the Guyana Revenue Authority mandates a Pre-Shipment Inspection by AutoTerminal Japan (ATJ). Every single vehicle we ship must pass this independent, rigorous check before it leaves Japan. This official requirement is your ultimate guarantee against receiving a ‘lemon,’ ensuring your car arrives in Georgetown in the condition you expect.
