Before the Car Leaves Japan
- Select Your Vehicle: Ensure it is RHD and meets the under 8-year requirement.
- Apply for License: Use the TTBizLink portal to apply for your Import License before the car leaves Japan.
- Secure Shipping: We ship the car to Port of Spain (POS) and provide the Bill of Lading and Deregistration Certificate.
- Customs Clearance: Your broker submits the C82 Form and pays the applicable Duties, VAT, and MVT.
- Licensing Office: Take the car to the Licensing Division for inspection and to receive your “P” series plates.
- Drive Away: Once your plates are fitted and insurance is active, your Japanese import is ready for T&T roads.
